Wakefield: Teenagers can get £565,000

Teenagers across Wakefield are being urged to turn their dream project into reality with a slice of more than £500,000 of government cash.
The government has earmarked £565,000 from its Youth Opportunity and Youth Capital Funds to give young people in Wakefield safe places to go and positive things to do.

The cash will be handed out by Wakefield Council who are inviting 13 to-19 year
-olds, or anyone up to age 25 they have disabilities, for the first slice of the 2010/2011 funds.
