Final preparations are being made for this year's big Christmas lights switch on in Kippax.
The town will see the lights turned on by Chris Chittell on Thursday, December 3, outside the co-op, with guests presenters JK & Joel from 96.3 Radio Aire and Ronnie the Rhino helping to bring the final town lights to life.

Leeds City Council executive member for Leisure Councillor John Procter said: "The community light switch-ons are a great way for families to celebrate the beginning of the lead up to Christmas. If the success of the main city light switch-on is anything to go by, then all the local towns are in for a real treat."

A spokesperson for 96.3 Radio Aire said: "We're really excited to be part of this event and we're looking forward to flicking that switch and bringing in Christmas."
