* The Trustees of the charity continue this very worthwhile work today by providing 300 residential holidays/respite places each year for disadvantaged children from Leeds. The children enjoy a holiday filled with fun and friendship by the sea at Silverdale Holiday Centre which is situated in the most beautiful location overlooking Morecambe Bay within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The staff at Silverdale organise a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for the children to enjoy at Silverdale which include sports, craft work, gardening projects, cycling and go-carting, walks, picnics, as well as time spent in the small heated swimming pool.
* The charity requires £140,000 per year to fully fund 300 holidays and to maintain Silverdale Holiday Centre to a high standard in order to ensure that the children in our care are comfortable, safe and secure. Donations are always welcome and all monies are used for the purpose of the charity.
