Public Health England (PHE) said there had been 35,204 more cases since last week to reach a total of 111,157 – a 46 per cent increase.
Leeds recorded an infection rate of 266.7 in the seven days to June 22, the latest available figures. That's up 41.8 per cent from the previous week.
But some neighbourhoods have far higher infection rates.

Hyde Park recorded 122 new cases, a rate of 1,440.9. It’s up 3.4% from the previous week.

Headingley recorded 82 new cases, a rate of 861.4. It’s up 28.1% from the previous week.
4. Burley
Burley recorded 63 new cases, a rate of 719.4. It’s up 40% from the previous week.
5. University & Little Woodhouse
University & Little Woodhouse recorded 75 new cases, a rate of 654. It’s up 31.6% from the previous week.
6. Woodhouse & Little London
Woodhouse & Little London recorded 82 new cases, a rate of 618.7. It’s up 57.7% from the previous week.
