Masterchef finalist Bobby Geetha’s new summer menu at Fléur will take you on a global voyage of discovery and tastes – a feast for the eyes and the tastebuds

This cool, city-centre restaurant is more than just a trendy bar and brasserie to enjoy a meal – although it is renowned for its bottomless brunches in Leeds, as shown in the Oliver Awards, at which Fléur has been a finalist for the past two years.

It’s a place to experience a different kind of food fusion, an International melting pot of cuisine with a Yorkshire twist.

Bobby’s menu incorporates the best of his discoveries from his extensive global travels and culinary expertise with his love of quality, fresh locally sourced ingredients.

All this is served in a stunning contemporary dining area which is relaxing and fun, offering an inviting atmosphere for all occasions with the option to book for dinner or for groups/private parties in the restaurant.

“The concept is good food in a relaxing environment,” says Bobby, who was a finalist in Season 8 of Masterchef. “Every dish has a story to tell. We change the menu regularly, and if something is not so popular we’ll alter it or try something different.”

Sumptuous summer menu

It’s all about the colours this summer, with purples coming from things like beetroot powder and warm ochres from turmeric used in food and lattes.

“I like to use natural ingredients, and my food has to give amazing flavours,” says Bobby, who loves to experiment with different food cultures and tastes, like his Naanza – a cross between a pizza and a naan - with a chicken keema topping. Or how about a lambchop tandooried with a mango flavour?

You’ll find Japanese influences in there too – from the Tempura Prawns to the Roasted Miso Ginger Salmon with stir-fried broccoli, baby spinach, kimchi and butter beans.

There’s plenty for meat and fish lovers, but vegans and vegetarians will be spoiled for choice too – Mango Halloumi breakfast should hit the spot for brunch, or how about a pulled BBQ Jackfruit Bao bun?

Even the sides get the Bobby fusion treatment – try Crushed Hashbrowns with Kimchi, Sriracha, mayonnaise and fried onions or a light batter fried Zucchini with a plant based purple Labneh yoghurt dip for a flash of colour and flavour ono the plate.

The drinks too are given an extra twist at Fléur - like the Biscoff Martini – with a biscoff infused spiced rum- or Mango Martini with coconut and rum.

Happy Hour

Happy hour is all day Monday to Thursday with two of the same drink – classic cocktail or spritz – for just £12.95 or £49.95 for two bottomless prosecco brunches or evenings with food (if you book ahead)

Dining at any time won’t break the bank though – with starters from £7 and main courses around £12 - £18 this is affordable eating. And with frequent menu changes and such a wide choice you can be guaranteed a different experience every time you visit – but with the same friendliness, relaxed atmosphere and great food.

Thursdays and Saturdays are themed music days to add to the fun – with themes including British Pop hits; Ibiza tunes or the Best of the Boy Bands.
