A man and two 17-year-olds have appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court after a man allegedly had his ear sliced off during a robbery at a park in Rothwell.

Paul Gibbs, 26 is said to be in hospital after his ear was allegedly sliced off, while two other youths, aged 16 and 17, were also said to be injured.
Wearing a black Nike T-shirt, Hall spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth during the brief hearing.
He sat nervously in the dock alongside the other two defendants, who nodded and mouthed "hello" to relatives sat in the public gallery.
All three were remanded in custody and no application was made for bail. They will next appear at Leeds Crown Court on September 9.
