Police in Leeds are appealing for information after a cyclist was hit by a car on Wetherby Road (A58).

The crash happened in Scarcroft on Tuesday, New Year's Eve, at 1.40pm.

West Yorkshire Police's roads policing unit posted an appeal on New Year's Day, asking the public for more information on the crash.

The appeal said: "A road traffic collision between a car and cyclist occurred at 1.40pm on December 31 2019 on A58 Wetherby Road, Scarcroft.

"Appeal for anyone who witnessed this to contact us via 101/Live chat quoting 13190666552."
