Selby Road Halton: Man hospitalised with life threatening injuries after crash on busy Leeds road

A busy Leeds road has closed and a man has been hospitalised with life-threatening injuries after a collision in the early hours of the morning.

It is thought that the 31-year-old driver of the black BMW 320D was travelling along Selby Road towards York Road at around 5.20am today (October 24) when his car collided with railings. The man was taken to hospital.

Road closures remain in place and people have been asked to avoid the area while an investigation continues at the scene.
