Yorkshire nostalgia: East Riding bans Last Tango in Paris
Starring Marlon Brando and Maria Schneider, the film is about a widower’s violent affair with a young girl. Oscar Topham, deputy mayor of Bridlington, said: “I have not seen the film but I have read the script and I did not intend to waste my time sitting through such a filthy film.”
