Rothwell Carnival: Come and join in the fun

The community is being invited to come and join in the fun at Rothwell Carnival this weekend.
The event takes place on Saturday, July 12 in Springhead Park from 12pm to 5pm. Admission is free.

Procession starts 12.30pm on the Pastures

Highlights will include Knights of the Damned jousting team, the Golden Eagle Archers, a medieval 'Robin Hood' display as well as fairground, stalls, donkeys, local dance schools.

A Carnival spokesperson said admission was free before adding: "But we would welcome donations towards the costs of the event.

"All donations will fund the entertainment for next year. The more donations we receive, the better your Carnival will be.
