Doncaster v Southend: Dickov opts against loans to maintain harmony
PAUL DICKOV is resisting the temptation to bring in short-term loan recruits to boost his numbers – to maintain the good harmony in his squad.
Rovers have a solid core of players who have bonded impressively since pre-season and while Dickov is still light in one or two areas in terms of depth, he wants the positive spirit and equilibrium in his camp to be maintained following an unbeaten start to the campaign.
He said: “With us having one or two getting so close back to fitness, the one thing we have tried to stay away from is getting in three, four or six loan players.
