McGinn's side are approaching tonight's Premier League showdown at Villa Park sat second in the table after a perfect four wins from four including a crazy 7-2 romp at home to defending champions Liverpool.
McGinn, though, says that every team in the top flight will consider a clash against Marcelo Bielsa's Whites as one of the hardest of the season and the Scotland international hopes his side will benefit from an indirect favour from Wolves.

Hide AdVilla have had more than 24 hours' extra to prepare for Friday night's clash with their most recent encounter coming via Sunday's 1-0 win at Leicester City and McGinn hopes the difference shows.
Speaking to www.avfc.co.uk, McGinn said: “I think I speak for most Premier League teams when I say that Leeds is one of the most difficult fixtures on the calendar.
“You need a couple of days off after you’ve played them, but hopefully they’ll be tired from their game against Wolves.
“Villa Park is somewhere we want to make a fortress, and we’ve done that so far this season. Hopefully we can carry that on this Friday.”

Hide AdReflecting on Villa's perfect start, which has made last season's 17th-placed finish seem a world away, McGinn warned: "The humility needs to stay, and we can’t get ahead of ourselves.
"We’ve got 12 points now and 28 more points will get us safe, and then we can move on from there.
“In the first season we probably tried to look a bit too far ahead too soon.
"It’s an exciting time to be a part of Aston Villa and hopefully that can continue.”
