After earning his 50th cap in Thursday's Euro 2020 qualifying play-off final defeat against Slovakia, Dallas was handed the armband for Sunday's clash in Vienna in which the visitors led after 74 minutes through Josh Magennis.
Austria, though, levelled seven minutes later through substitute Louis Schaub and then bagged an 87th-minute winner through another player coming off the bench in Adrian Grbic.

Cooper stayed on the bench for Thursday night's epic Euro 2020 qualifiers play-off final victory against Serbia in which Steve Clarke's side booked their place at next summer's delayed tournament by holding their nerve in a penalty shoot out.
But Cooper came back into the side as Clarke made eight changes to his side and Scotland's unbeaten run came to an end as Jan Gregus bagged the only goal of the game in the 31st minute.
United duo Gjanni Alioski and Mateusz Klich were both suspended for North Macedonia and Poland respectively for their Sunday Nations League clashes against Estonia and Italy after two yellow cards.

Tyler Roberts, meanwhile, came on as an 88th minute substitute for Wales in Sunday evening's Nations League victory at home to the Republic of Ireland who were beaten off 1-0.
Roberts made an immediate impact with the Whites forward racing clear one on one and brought down by Jeff Hendrick who was shown a straight red card in the 94rd minute as the last man.
