Leeds United's Kalvin Phillips and England send Germany crashing out of Euro 2020 at Wembley
Late goals from Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane did the damage as Gareth Southgate's defensive set-up largely nullified the German threat.
The Three Lions win will see them take on Sweden or Ukraine on July 3 in Rome for a place in the semi-finals.

Hide AdSouthgate's selection came under scrutiny again, Phillips and Declan Rice both getting the nod again in a 3-4-3 formation as England sought to avoid being overrun by the visitors' flying wing-backs.
But after four outings England are yet to concede a single goal and have continued to look defensively sound, barring a couple of nervy moments in the last 16 clash.
Phillips' midfield partner Rice came under early pressure, taking a yellow card after eight minutes for a foul on Leon Goretzka right on the edge of the England area, the visitors wasting the set-piece opportunity.
For England Sterling came close with a curling effort from distance that Manuel Neuer had to palm wide for a corner which was headed into the keeper's hands by Harry Maguire.

The second half was largely a dull affair until, with 15 minutes remaining, Sterling started and finished off a move that unlocked the German defence and gave England a precious lead.
Thomas Müller squandered a glorious chance to level, running clean through on Pickford only to sidefoot past the post.
And as the game entered its final five minutes England broke from midfield, substitute Jack Grealish crossed and Harry Kane, a bystander for so much of the contest, flashed home a header to confirm a place in the quarter-finals.
