The governing bodies convened on Tuesday to discuss the spread of the virus, and subsequently took the decision to postpone this summer’s European Championships until 2021.
And in a new joint resolution released this evening, they have confirmed that they are aiming to see all domestic competitions end by June 30 – providing it is ‘appropriate and prudent enough.’

Hide AdA statement read: “A commitment to complete all domestic and European club competitions by the end of the current sporting season, i.e. 30 June 2020 at the latest, should the situation improve and resuming playing be appropriate and prudent enough.”
Premier League and EFL games are currently postponed until April 3, but both league boards will meet soon to discuss their next steps.
