HEMSWORTH Miners Welfare Ladies stayed top of the West Riding County Women's Football League with Sunday's 4-0 defeat of visiting Bradford Park Avenue Ladies, writes DAISY YOUNG.

The hosts are two points clear of Ossett Town in the table after their victory.

For all their pressure and ball possession, only a Katy Dewrow penalty separated the teams at half-time. Nikki Grayson won the player of match accolades after providing three assists in the second period for Sarah Heckler, Vicky Gosney and Kelsey Stones.
